chemicalweather asked: do you have any recommendations for skinny jeans? I'm really muscular up and down through my legs from riding horses for so long and i even though I'm a bigger girl i really lack curves. or, i have curves in the wrong places. i need some skinny jeans that won't make me feel fat and will help me with maybe creating some curves and also stay on my ass. thanks girl! love the blog! you're beautiful!
Firstly, you are beautiful - and there is no such thing as “curves in the wrong places”. Everyones curves are exactly where they should be! What would be so awesome about being us, if we were all the same? :)
Second, I can understand where you are coming from. My legs were something I was really self conscious about when I was younger because I have really thick thighs, and undefined calf muscles, that taper drastically - I use to think they looked like a chicken drumstick. Then I found myself, stopped caring what others thought, and now I wear skinny jeans all the time - and I love my legs just as they are.
If you like skinnies, rock them! You could buy them to fit you in your thighs, even if they are bigger in your waist - and get them taken in to fit your measurements. OR, you could buy them with stretch (forever 21+ is where I get mine). Stretch helps the denim form to your shape, but the downside is that they do stretch out after wearing them a while making them less form fitting. Buying a higher rise will help them stay up - It also helps prevent a “muffin top”, and gives you a more streamline look without the fuss of undergarments like control panties, spanx or waist cinchers.
For creating shape, look into peplum tops (asos.com, citychiconline.com) or flowy tops that you could belt to create shape and curves you feel you may be lacking in different areas. I hope this helps! Thanks for the question.. Be sure to post pictures once you find the perfect pair of skinny jeans!
comealonggarth asked: Can I just stop by and say you are perfect and that you are my idol
You are the cutest! That`s sweet of you to say. I am far from perfect! I always strive to be better, and to leave room for improvement. You are a lovely individual, and I bet someone out there is looking at you thinking that you are their idol :) Thanks for the love xoxo

I HAVE A PROBLEM… I become obsessed with a piece of clothing, and need to own it in every dang colour (this one dress in particular has lots of colour options) I now own a grey one *favourite*, a royal blue one, and now this one. I THINK I’M GOOD. Someone slap me if I say I want another one! @fayedaniels I’m looking at you….
www.citychiconline.com has a “nothing over $30” sale on right now - in case this dress, or one of the other two that I have posted, tickles your fancy
I’ve had a lot of questions asking where I got my skater/ circle skirt from - which I purchased from www.citychiconline.com. Unfortunately, they were so popular that they didn’t last long, and sold out. Luckily for those who were wanting one, www.asos.com offers a skirt that is pretty similar in that style (maybe just a touch shorter than the one I bought) You can click the link >here< to take you to the skirt above. Or simply head to the website and type in “skater skirt” for more options. These range from petite to plus size. Hope this helps!

casketxcase-deactivated20130401 asked: where did you get that black skirt in your recent photos? also what's your workout routine?
The black skater skirt in my recent pictures is from www.citychiconline.com - Unfortunately they sold out of it, but they still have some great skater dresses available! (I currently own four and I love them all!) But who knows, maybe with popular demand they could bring it back :)
I don’t have a set workout routine, really. I work a pretty physical job that involves me being on my feet for 8-10 hours, there’s heavy lifting, carrying that heavy stuff up lots of stairs. Random dance parties with co-workers while it’s slow, helps too! I also make the conscious effort to take the stairs instead of the escalator, walk instead of transit - a little goes a long way.
To be honest, my diet changed more than anything. Stopped eating unnecessary calories (from sugary foods, soda, lattes, bread, etc) I still enjoy these things, but in moderation now. Just cutting out a few bad habits helped me lose the first 10lbs - to go further with it I will have to kick up that exercise routine a notch. I’m in no rush though.
Thanks for the message, lovely. You are stunning and have amazing brows <3 xox
